Smart Rolling Stock Maintenance Research Facility Update

November has been a busy month for our engineers with the 2nd phase of installation at The University of Huddersfield’s Institute of Railway Research well underway. With the 2 x Kuka KR50 Industrial Robots and Linear Tracks installed, our engineers have now begun the next tasks of implementing the control system using a Siemens PLC, and integrating the vision systems.
