Using OCTOPUZ Offline Robot Programming software our engineers successfully collaborated with OCTOPUZ to digitally twin our KUKA welding cell, allowing them to create new welding paths in an offline programming environment.

OCTOPUZ Offline Robot Programming software enables your welding robots to continue working while new functions are being programmed in a virtual, offline environment. The required welding conditions and tooling are imported from a CAD system and the parameters are simulated onscreen, ensuring accuracy and eliminating errors and collisions.

If you would like to know any more information on OCTOPUZ, or for a demonstration, please get in contact with the Olympus team on 01484 514513 or email [email protected].

We are delighted to share with you our latest collaboration with Colchester Machine Tool Solutions.

Laser Marker Tending - our new interface between the Universal Robots and Colchester’s range of Laser Marking Machines, enabling automation of the laser marking process.

The key benefits to automating your laser process are speed, consistency and capacity - enabling batch processing & 2nd or 3rd shift capabilities with ease. Compatible with Class 1 & Class 4 lasers.

We were approached by E&O Laboratories to design an automated solution that would collate, turn and pack their product in order to increase the volumes handled by existing staff.

Our engineers were able to create 3 fully collaborative end of line solutions using the Universal Robots. It obtained UKCA marking by taking advantage of the robot’s in-built safety features. No additional safety was required, which means that the staff are able to work alongside the robot, minimising the footprint of the new equipment.

If you would like to discuss how the Olympus Team can design an automated solution to benefit your business, please give us a call on 01484 514513 or email [email protected].
