Olympus Technologies Ltd designs and delivers innovative robotic automation solutions for customers across the UK, Ireland and beyond. As we continue to grow and invest in our systems, processes and people, we are now looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to join our team.
This is a key role within the business, offering the opportunity to combine hands-on financial management with strategic input. You’ll lead a small finance and admin team, work closely with Directors and operational teams, and play a central role in improving financial processes as we complete our transition to modern cloud-based systems, including Xero and Unleashed.
The Role
As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the business, while also providing clear commercial insight to support decision-making across teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing accurate management accounts, budgets and forecasts
- Managing cash flow, P&L performance and financial controls
- Overseeing invoicing, credit control, VAT, payroll and year-end processes
- Working closely with Directors, engineers and customer-facing teams to turn financial data into clear, actionable insight
- Leading and developing the finance and admin team
- Supporting ongoing process improvements and system optimisation
This role offers genuine scope to add value beyond the numbers, with long-term potential to progress into a more senior, Director-level position.
About You
You’ll be a commercially minded finance professional with experience in a manufacturing, engineering or technical SME environment. You’re confident balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and enjoy working closely with non-finance colleagues to help the business perform at its best.
