Maintain program accuracy thanks to the TCP Calibration kit from Olympus Technologies. Using a SensoPart through-beam fork sensor, tools and TCP data can be accurately calibrated during production to maintain accuracy as tools either wear or change in production.

Using a carefully developed routine, the robot calculates an accurate tool position to allow ultimate precision whilst teaching and running programs. In applications like dispensing or welding, which often require a high level of accuracy, this kit will reduce waste and improve accuracy.

Any number of tools can be configured and saved to the robot, ready to be used and re-calibrated whilst a robot program is running.

A simple 3-point teach in the installation file defines everything the software needs to calculate accurate tool data, then simply input approximate tool data and let the software do the rest!

- Using the provided teaching spike, teach the fork sensor’s location inside the URCap.
- Enter approximate (nominal) tool data for as many tools as you wish.
- Run a calibration to calculate accurate tool data
